Teaching at Humber College
Teaching allows me to give back to the design community that shaped my career. There's something deeply fulfilling about watching students have their "aha" moments when complex concepts suddenly click into place.
Beyond sharing technical skills, I focus on helping students develop the soft skills that truly matter: storytelling, stakeholder management, and the ability to advocate for users in corporate environments.

Real-World Projects
Case studies from Thomson Reuters, Finastra, and startups, showing how design decisions impact real users and business outcomes.
Industry Connections
Bridging academia and industry by sharing current trends, tools, and what hiring managers actually look for in portfolios.
AI in Design
Preparing students for the future by integrating AI tools and workflows into the curriculum, skills they'll need to thrive.
What I Learn from Students
Teaching keeps me humble and curious. Students ask questions I haven't considered, challenge established patterns, and bring diverse perspectives that enrich my own practice.
Their energy and enthusiasm remind me that design is fundamentally about empathy and problem-solving, not just following frameworks. Every semester, I leave a better designer than when I started.
